The free pole barn plans listed below are from The University of Tennessee Extension. It is requested that these plans are not altered or sold. The plans DO NOT guarantee structural integrity and should be reviewed by a professional designer before the start of any construction project.
The Adirondack Type Shelter is 10′ x 15′ shelter with an open front that has a slab extending out an additional 3′.
The Pole Pavilion is a 24′ x 36′ pole barn constructed pavilion that includes a 12′ x 12′ kitchen inside the structure. This plan is a great starting point if you are looking to add a small workshop within a pole barn.
The Picnic Shelter measures 12′ x 20′ and includes a fireplace. The frame is constructed of poles and is open on all sides. Enclosing the outside of this shelter with paneling would be a great addition to this plan.
The Cattle Barn is pole frame constructed and measures 50’x 70′ and includes a partial hay loft.
The Riding Horse Barn is 22′ x 34′ and includes two stalls, loft, feed and tack room. There is a 26′ covered area over the three different rooms.
The Saddle Horse Barn is a pole framed structure consisting of four stalls and one feed and tack room. The pole barn measures 12′ x 60′.
The Horse Barn Stall is a 24′ x 50′ pole barn consisting of eight stalls and wood framed interior and exterior.
This 17 stall horse barn is 36′ x 100′. This is a fairly large structure but the plans give a good starting point to someone who may want to build this type of style pole barn with half the length.
This 1.5 Story Horse Barn is a wood framed structure measuring 24′ x 48′ with three stalls, a feed room, and a tack room. The upper level of the barn is a hay loft with a chute.
The 2 Stall Horse Plan is a pole barn that provides a covered walkway over the entrances to the stalls and feed and tack room. The pole barn measures 20′ x 32′.
The Gambrel Horse Barn consists of two stalls with a feed and tack area. The Gambrel roof provides a hay loft on the upper level. The structure measures 16′ x 24′.
The Horse Barn Post Construction measuring 24′ x 36′ and includes three horse stalls.
